Brutalist-style poster inspired by DAMN., the fourth album by Kendrick Lamar.
After the success of To Pimp a Butterfly, an album that fused hip-hop with jazz, funk and soul, DAMN. focuses much more on anger and politics, and takes on genres such as R&B, trap and pop. Kendrick talks about the state of America and the country's politics, particularly on songs like XXX. (which features U2 and still manages to work somehow), and looks back on his life with criticism and raw honesty, like on the track FEAR. which unpacks Kendrick's worries and fears over four main timestamps of his life.
